John created NeuroSolutions to better serve the neurodiverse community after many attempts to find the right career path. Being an autistic individual himself he has faced many challenges along the way but with perseverance and support from his family he was able to obtain a Bachelors in Finance from Bentley University and later pursued an AI/Machine Learning certificate program from the University of Texas. John's goal is to reinvent Career Counseling to better serve the underserved neurodiverse community.
Dr. Susan Giurleo received her PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Her research focus was women’s career development with a specific focus on women’s attachment and the pursuit of STEM careers. During her graduate education she was a research assistant participating in the coding of career categories for the US government’s O*Net project with lead researcher Dr. James Rounds. Dr Giurleo has two decades of experience assessing, counseling and supporting people with neurodivergence, specifically ADHD, autism and learning disabilities. She has worked in public and private schools, colleges and universities with students and adults assisting them with career exploration, as well as treating depression, anxiety, trauma and other mental health issues. She joins NeuroSolutions as a subject expert and consultant focusing on career exploration for people with neurodivergent brains.
